Safeguarding
We take safeguarding responsibilities seriously and work to provide appropriate supervision, safer recruitment practices and clear routes for raising concerns.
Safeguarding and inclusion are central to how Urban Education CIC plans and delivers music, sport and educational activities.
We work with schools, youth organisations, alternative education providers and community partners to create engaging environments where young people can take part safely and confidently.
Our activities can be adapted to participants' ages, abilities and individual needs, including SEND and alternative provision settings. We discuss practical and safeguarding arrangements with commissioning organisations before delivery.

Misha is a qualified teacher with SEND training and experience supporting home-educated learners, alternative provision and young people with additional needs.
As Urban Education CIC's safeguarding lead, she supports our approach to safe, inclusive delivery. For safeguarding-related enquiries, contact Urban Education and ask for Misha.
